Dr. Moez Mithani

Dr. Moez Mithani is a fellowship-trained, board-certified anesthesiologist and board-eligible interventional pain physician, who is excited to return back home to the Lone Star State! A native Texan, Dr. Mithani attended college at Baylor University majoring in the biomedical sciences and completed a master’s program at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth Texas before matriculating at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Dr. Mithani completed his categorical anesthesiology residency program at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, graduating with exceptional training, education, and accolades. He then moved to the pacific northwest to Seattle where he spent some time as a clinical anesthesiologist. During that time, he discovered his true calling and furthered his training and skillset by completing an interventional pain medicine fellowship at the nationally recognized Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Dr. Mithani is excited to return back home to his hometown where he grew up – San Antonio, Texas. With his robust training experience, Dr. Mithani specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery, neuromodulation, advanced cancer pain therapy, and interventional chronic pain procedures.

Dr. Mithani prides in taking a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to each patient, understanding that each patient’s pain is unique. With comprehensive history-taking, detailed physical examination, and detailed imaging studies, Dr. Mithani formulates a therapy plan that is tailored to each patient. Dr. Mithani also is actively engaged and involved in various professional pain societies to continue to offer breakthrough and cutting-edge treatments and therapies to his patients.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Mithani enjoys spending time reading, staying active, and watching football (not soccer). At the moment, Dr. Mithani is trying to learn golf and swimming.
